Wizard of Oz Prototyping

Allows validating user demand for complex automated features without writing back-end logic.

Input

A proposed automated feature concept and target user personas.

Output

User feedback validation logs and verified product workflows.

1. Define the Front-End Experience

Map out the interface elements the user will interact with. It should appear fully automated.

2. Setup the Manual Back-End (The Wizard)

Establish how a human operator will manually perform the back-end processing behind the scenes.

3. Test and Validate Demand

Have users interact with the front-end interface, observe their behaviors, and validate demand before writing back-end automation.
